A step wise process is shared below:

1. **Open the transaction**
Go to the **Transactions** tab and click on the transaction you want to link an invoice to.

2. **Use Admin Override**
In the transaction flyout that appears on the right, click **“Admin Override: Change Transaction.”**
**Note**:*This option is only available to users with Owner, Admin, or Accountant roles.*

3. **Confirm the override**
A pop-up will appear — click **Yes** to confirm.

4. **Open the category field**
Click the **Category** field within the transaction flyout.

5. **Select the Invoice Payment tab**
In the pop-up that appears, select the **Invoice Payment** tab.

6. **Choose the invoice(s)**
From the list of available invoices, check the box for the invoice or invoices you want to assign.

7. **Apply the payment**
Click **Apply Payment to Invoice**. This will keep your transaction reconciled and apply the payment to the selected invoice(s).
