# How to Connect Claude AI to Your COUNT Workspace

You can connect Claude directly to COUNT to interact with your accounting data using natural language. Once connected, Claude can help you ask questions about your books, pull reports, and even take actions like create journal entries, and automate repetitive workflows — all without manually navigating through COUNT.

Whether you want quick answers or are building smarter accounting workflows, this integration unlocks a faster way to work with your financial data.

## What Can Claude Do with COUNT?
Once connected, Claude can help you:
* Ask questions about your books using natural language
* Pull financial reports and accounting data
* Create journal entries
* Help automate repetitive accounting tasks

For example, you can ask:

## Steps to Connect COUNT to Claude

**1. Open Claude**
Launch Claude and log into your account.

Navigate to:
**Connectors → + (Add Connectors) → Add Custom Connector**

**4. Enter COUNT Connector Details**
Add the following details:
**Name:** `COUNT`
**Remote MCP server URL:** `https://api.getcount.com/mcp`

**5. Connect to COUNT**
Click **Connect**.
You’ll be prompted to sign in to COUNT using your **COUNT email address and password**.

**6. Authorize Workspace Access**
After logging in:
* Choose the **data permissions** you want to grant
* Select the **workspace** you want Claude to access
Then click **Authorize**.

**7. Start Using Claude with COUNT**
That’s it — Claude is now connected to your COUNT workspace and you can start asking questions in a new chat.
