How to Ensure Checks Print Accurately in COUNT

Ensuring that your checks print correctly requires precise alignment of the check fields on your check stock. COUNT allows you to adjust the coordinates of your checks so that payee names, amounts, and other information align perfectly with your pre-printed check layout. This article will guide you through the steps to adjust check coordinates, helping you achieve accurate and professional check printing every time.

  • In the navigation sidebar (on the left hand side), go to Expenses > Print Checks.
  • Click on the “Configure” button in the top right corner.

  • From here you can adjust the coordinates as per your requirement. You can also preview the check before and after your adjustments.

  • Once the preview looks right, we recommend that you do a test print on regular paper before printing on your actual check stocks. You may need to adjust your printer settings as well to ensure that everything is in order.
  • When everything is in order, you can print checks accurately by following this support guide: How to Print Checks in COUNT

Pro Tip: After adjusting your check coordinates, always perform a test print to verify alignment before printing on your actual check stock. Save your settings for future use to maintain consistent check printing.
