Adding products and services to your COUNT account streamlines the invoicing and billing process, ensuring that your transactions are consistent and accurate. Here's how you can add a product or service in COUNT:

Step-by-Step Guide to Adding a Product or Service

  1. Navigate to Products & Services: On the left navigation menu, click Manage > Products & Services.

  2. Enter Product/Service Details:

    • Product/Service Name: Enter a unique name for the product or service.

    • Pricing Method: Choose the pricing method - either by item or by hour.

    • Currency: Select the currency of the product/service.

    • Additional Options: You can add any or more of the following options: selling price, purchase price, stock count, and record as a timed service. Options are accessible upon clicking the checkboxes.

    • Per Unit Price: Enter the unit price (per item or per hour etc.)

    • Select/Add Tax: Choose an existing tax or add a new tax if applicable.

    • Select Account: Assign an account to the product or service.

    • Description: Provide a detailed description of the product or service.

  3. Save the Product:

    • Click the Add button to save the product or service.

Using Saved Products and Services

  • On Invoices and Bills:

    • When you create invoices or bills, you can select the saved product or service from the dropdown menu.

    • Once added to an invoice or bill, you can still make changes to the product or service details if required.

Adding a Product or Service While Creating an Invoice: You can also add a new product or service directly while creating an invoice. This product or service will automatically be saved under Manage > Products & Services for future use.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage your products and services in COUNT, ensuring that your invoicing and billing processes are smooth and accurate.
