How to Export Data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) for Importing into COUNT

Exporting data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) is an essential step when transitioning to COUNT. This guide will walk you through the process of exporting your chart of accounts, contact lists (customers, employees, vendors/suppliers), products and services, and historical transactions. Exporting Your Chart of Accounts

  1. Access the Chart of Accounts:

    • Log in to your QBO account.

    • Go to Settings ⚙️ > Chart of Accounts.

  2. Export the Data:

    • Click the Run Report button.

    • Customize the report if needed (e.g., adding columns for specific details).

    • Click Export > Export to Excel to save the file.

  3. Save the File:

    • Store the exported file in an easily accessible location for importing into COUNT.

Exporting Contact Lists (Customers, Employees, Vendors/Suppliers)

  1. Access Contact Information:

    • Go to Sales > Customers to view your customer list.

    • For Customers and Vendors:
