How to Send Invoices to a Customer

COUNT makes it easy to email your customer directly once an invoice is ready. Whether you're billing one client or multiple, you can send approved invoices straight from your workspace in just a few clicks.


Sending an Invoice via Email


Here’s how to send an invoice to a customer:


1. Go to Invoices & Estimates

From the left-hand sidebar, click Invoices & Estimates.

2. Locate the Approved Invoice

In the table, find the invoice you want to send. Make sure its status is Approved (you’ll only see the Send Invoice button for approved invoices).

3. Click “Send Invoice”

  • You can click the Send Invoice button directly from the right side of the invoice row.
  • Or, click into the invoice, and from the View Invoice page, click Send Invoice in the top right.

4. Customize the Email

In the pop-up that appears:

  • Add one or more email recipients (separate addresses with commas).
  • Update the email subject and message if needed.
  • To send yourself a copy, check the box at the bottom and enter your email address.

5. Click Send

Once everything looks good, hit Send — and your invoice will be on its way.



Pro Tip: Want to notify multiple people on your customer’s team? Just enter multiple email addresses in the “To” field, separated by commas — they’ll all receive the invoice.
