Uploading Documents

Uploading documents in COUNT keeps your financial records in one place and makes it easier for your bookkeeper to access everything they need.

  • Go to the left-hand menu and click Documents.
  • Click Upload File.

  • A pop-up will appear asking you to drag and drop or upload your file.

Advanced Options

When uploading a file, you can add extra details so the document is easier to organize and track:

  • Vendor → Select the vendor the document relates to (useful for invoices, receipts, or purchase orders).
  • Customer → Choose the customer if the file is linked to a client (for example, customer invoices or contracts).
  • Person → Assign the document to a specific team member or employee.
  • Project → Tag the file under a project to keep related documents grouped together.

These fields are optional, but using them makes it much easier to find and filter documents later.
